Afroish x The Komenda Project

The Komenda Project partnered with Afroish, a business that provides authentic and ethically sourced Kente sashes handwoven by locals in Ghana to help commemorate special milestones and occasions such as graduation ceremonies.

Students received the Kente stoles as a privilege and a celebration for their hard work and experiences in completing their education at colleges and universities worldwide. Each Kente cloth has a meaning, and every piece of its beautiful design communicates something of importance, such as excellence or royalty.

Through this collaboration, Afroish donated a portion of sales towards The Komenda Project to help students from underprivileged backgrounds in Ghana gain access to the necessary educational resources needed to excel.
